In consideration of being permitted to participate in Uncle Butt's Pits & Pistons BBQ Competition ("the Event") on August 15, 2026 at Centennial Park, Meridian, Idaho, the undersigned team and all team members acknowledge and agree that participation in the Event involves inherent risks, including but not limited to risks associated with open flame, hot equipment, food preparation, and outdoor event conditions.
By registering, the team agrees to release, indemnify, and hold harmless Uncle Butt's BBQ, the Idaho BBQ Association, the City of Meridian, the Meridian Chamber of Commerce, event sponsors, and their respective officers, agents, and volunteers from any and all claims, damages, or liability arising from participation in the Event.
Teams are responsible for their own equipment, safe food handling practices, and compliance with all IBA competition rules and applicable health and safety regulations.
